Do you resonate with any of these words?

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong before you come. We'll work it out together.

WHY CHOOSE THE GAME WITHIN?

We believe young people need more than information about mental wellbeing.

They need practical tools they can actually use when life gets messy. The Game Within combines behavioural expertise, pattern recognition, practical tools and evidence-informed approaches to help young people and the adults around them understand what is happening and practise something different. No judgement. No one-size-fits-all formula. Practical tools for real life.

WHEN THINGS ARE MORE SERIOUS.

We provide practical support with clear boundaries.

Sometimes what a young person or family is navigating includes eating disorders, self-harm or more significant emotional distress.

We can provide practical support around the behaviours, patterns, communication, triggers and family responses surrounding what's happening. We don't diagnose or replace appropriate medical or specialist care.

If we believe additional assessment or treatment is needed, we'll talk with you about that and recommend that you connect with an appropriate medical or specialist practitioner.

Where appropriate, our practical work can continue alongside other professional support. Knowing when another level of support is needed is part of supporting someone well.
